Born in Manila in 1980, I received a BFA in Illustration and Cartooning at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she continues to pursue several comic and illustration projects. In 2005 I was nominated for the Friends of Lulu 'Best Newcomer' award and a Top 20 Finalist in Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga 5.

Previous works include 'Hamlet: The Manga Edition' for Wiley, three volumes of 'Manga Math' for Graphic Universe, an unpublished graphic novel adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice' for Tokyopop, and several illustrations for Gothic Beauty Magazine and author Courtney Milan.
